Do you like working as a biologist?  Why?

What do you do daily as a biologist?

What types of organisms do you research?

Do you feel that any of your findings through your research have helped the earth or our environment?

If you could choose a different career in science, what would you choose?

These questions are all answered elsewhere on the site.  See the About Us and Not Just A Labcoat sections and the FAQ.

As a palaeontologist I doubt any of my work directly helps the earth and environment, but I do carry out studies that help us understand the patterns of life and evolution through history and that all feeds into the central 'pool' of scientific knowledge. That information can help others understand *their* work better and so ultimately, all our research is tied up and interwoven.
